Mountain High Contracts is a unique company.
We are the only wood products company in Colorado that “does it all”.
Every stage connected with the wood is incorporated in our business. We
personally do all stages from the beginning Forest Management and
Planning, the cutting and removal of the trees, the milling of the
lumber with our own lumber mill, the drying of the lumber in our
own dry kiln, and the preparation of the wood we have milled in our
work shop to ready it for usage. We design and produce our own wood crafts,
and we market and sell them under the Mind to Spirit Pathways Colorado
trademark, our second company created to market all our products. Our
goal is to utilize as fully as possible each and every tree we remove.
Recycling of the trees we remove is a responsibility we take seriously.
Every tree that needs to be removed due to disease, fire mitigation or
thinning we want to see utilized as lumber, firewood, mulch or as fuel for
the Road and Bridge BioBurner in Gilpin County. Educating Mountain Property Owners and everyone we meet about our forests and
tree health is also one of our primary goals. Working closely with the National
Forest Service and Colorado State Parks to keep current on forest
issues and tree health is important to us. Shared knowledge has the
power to bring about constructive change. Change that can help our
forests and mountain properties to fight off rampant disease and the
looming threat of devastation by fire. Our
forests and mountain properties are overcrowded with uniform age trees, a negative consequence of the mining and fires that occurred in our region over 100 years ago. Our trees
are in a weakened condition because they must continually struggle for light, water, and
nutrients. Epidemic levels of beetle infestation and increased disease have both taken advantage of this situation. The drought experienced for many years in Colorado has further weakened our trees
significantly reducing their resistance. As
we struggle to improve the conditions for our forests and trees, we are
faced with the ever-growing threat of wildfires that can spread quickly
with dry conditions, an overabundance of dead and dying trees, thick
needles, and large amounts of dead branches and limbs scattered on the
forest floor. Funding for the removal of this vast amount of potential
fuel is limited and resistance to the needed cleanup of our forests has
been strong over the past 30 years by those who do not understand our overstocked forests are in an unnatural state which is killing our trees. We
all have a responsibility to our beautiful state to work to keep it
that way. This means considering what impact our actions have on the
land, our forests, and state parks. A moment of carelessness in our
forests and state parks can result in a devastating loss and it may
take many decades for the area affected to recover. Please do your part to
protect the trees and forests of Colorado by staying current on both
weather and fire danger but also take time to learn about and support
the issues that can positively affect the health and future of our
trees and forests. Make a difference starting today.

A message from Cynthia:
In this world of increasing stress, the need exists for more beauty, harmony and balance. My goal is to bring harmony and balance not only to my life but to the life of others. With this in mind, I am creating art that will help restore the soul. I have also become Certified in Feng Shui to bring balance back to our land, homes and lives.
Balancing our environment is essential to maintain our health, wealth and relationships. Feng Shui is the ancient art that helps us restore and maintain our oneness with the world we inhabit. Chi or Energy flows through everything and connects everything. Chi is the energy of the Universe and the energy of the Universe is Chi. Being able to utilize the knowledge of this ancient art and help others connect to the universe and restore balance and harmony in their lives is a blessing.
Life has taught me that knowledge needs to be shared with others to grow and cooperation is the key to successful living. With this in mind, I have chosen to offer instruction in the Spiritual Arts and Crafts that have been a part of my life for over 40 years. Astrology, Numerology, the Enneagram, Typology for understanding are a few of the arts included in my instruction. Understanding of our role and purpose this lifetime is the key to finding the peace we all seek and to successful living.
I also offer Instruction in writing, painting, sewing, knitting, needlework, macramé, wood finishing, jewelry design, Christmas ornaments and creating a harmonious environment. I am currently expanding my wood and sign carving skills as we are always a student in this life. Learning is a life long process.
Additionally, I am working on my ND degree in Naturopathy to be able to offer more ways to assist others in the future.
Mind to Spirit Pathways Colorado has teamed up with Mountain High Contracts, a unique forestry company with similar goals to actively bring positive change to our community as well as recycle wood that must be removed for forest health. Together we are transforming it into inspiring and useful products. Being able to partner to create a more beautiful, harmonious and balanced world is an amazing gift in itself.
